Piraten-Wahlergebnis: 0.9% in Deutschland, 7.1% in Schweden
Die Piratenpartei konnte bei der gestrigen Europawahl sowohl in Deutschland als auch in Schweden sehr gute Ergebnisse einfahren. Mit 0.9% (229.117 Stimmen) konnte die Mindestzahl von 0.5% für Parteienfinanzierung bei Weitem überboten werden, sodass für weitere Wahlkämpfe genug Mittel zur Verfügung stehen sollten.
In Schweden wurde mit 7.1% auch die 4%-Hürde geknackt, sodass ein Abgeordneter der Piratpartiet (Christian Engström) in das Europaparlament einziehen wird. Link

@RandomJoe: 3 oder 4%, jedenfalls keine 5%, da hast du Recht.
@Florian: Es gab gestern leider Probleme mit der DNS-Konfiguration. Das ist mittlerweile behoben.

Sweden has the limit for entering in the election set to 4%. So anybody above that will get a seat.
The final counting of the votes has now been done and the result is that our top Name Christian Engström gets the seat. He is 49 years old, and a former member of Folkpartiet (a right-wing-liberal Swedish party).
We will also get a second seat if the Lissabon-treaty goes into effect. This person will be our second on the list, Amelia Andersdotter. She\‚s 21 years old (which will be the youngest person in the Parliament) and has is considered a leftist. She has had some collaborations with the swedish Syndcalists before.
So we will keep our balance
